Does Crafting Luxon Armor Require a Luxon Rank? Or can anybody craft it? I read the wiki, it doesn't say anything about rank or allegiance.

If Wiki doesn't mention it, it doesn't have relevance. i.e, no, there is no rank requirement. As always you need more Lux faction than Kurz to be able to interact with the NPCs though.

I heard that you lose Kurzick faction when you gain Luxon faction. Is this true?

No. You lose opposing faction when you exchange it for rewards or donate it. So if you exchange Luxon faction for Jade, you lose up to 5,000 Kurzick faction.

It doesn't require faction, but it requires you to have access to Cavalon.

The most straightforward way to get there is the "Journey to Cavalon" quest. (If you're interested in taking the back way, see the Wiki entry for how and when to do it.)

No. But you need more points there than that from Kurzicks. If your Guild isn't Luxon you will need to give up the Luxon points later. So it would be better to start out getting a little Luxon points, than go grab the armor, give them up and get back to Kurzick's. After you have completed the Kurzick's missions, you can get back over to do the rest. I did the Luxon stuffs for way too long after getting the armor and ended up having to give up way too much points....

Anyone can craft it as long as your Luxon faction is high enough the armorer will talk to you.
